Ashley S. replied:
Florida hospital is good if your baby is not high risk. My lil boy came out not able to breathe and with his cord around his neck and the baby Dr's took very good care of him. I can almost guarantee that your family won't be able to sleep at Halifax. So loud.
Tamra B. replied:
Caralyn Epstein is correct!!!! I had a hard pregnancy with my second child and he was my doctor! Couldn't have asked for anyone better!

Love, love, love Dr Tapia!!!
Jen A. replied:
Go to Dr. John White. He is amazing! He is one of the few to still own his own practice. I didn't like big OB office groups...it felt like a cattle call. Dr White delivers at both hospitals.

Dr. Gilmore at OB-GYN health center
Lisa V. replied:
Dr. Meyers delivered all 3 of mine. He's the best. I would never have my baby at Florida Hospital though... What if something happened? They'd ship your baby to Orlando!
Ashley S. replied:
I am a former Alachua County resident.:-) Volusia Obgyn. I had Tapia. She is understanding, caring, and takes time to listen and answer your questions. (All of the Volusia Obgyn Dr's are great tho.) Def go with Ormond hospital. I went to Halifax first for a severe fever and it was horrible! I begged them to let me leave.

Idk if Dr Ruben Lopez takes your insurance. But I met him when I was pregnant. He was very polite, his staff is amazing. I fought with Medicaid to stay with him when they did the same thing to me a yr ago. My daughter doesn't take well with strange men but LOVES her doctor. She's going to be 6 now and only sees him once a yr. And his office is never busy no matter what time I go. Appointments are always on time. Absolutely love Dr. Ruben Lopez.
Okay, for all who heard me say it's a hernia today. I am NOT a medical doctor. It's a cyst. I told Kevin, only 1 injury at a time!! Off to see a surgeon. Anybody...

Dr. Ramshaw did both of Clayton's hernia surgeries. I know it's not a hernia, but he was fantastic. The staff at Halifax catered to Clayton in the op center like he was a king!
