Some mares have allergy problems with the semen extender, this will prevent a pregnancy . Some mares will conceive only with live cover because then their subconscious tells them breeding happened. We have dealt with many kinds of breeding issues. Live cover done properly is not hazardous to your mare, look at the thorobred industry all and only live cover.
