I lived 2 blocks away from Dang Hoe's and 1 block from Maple Lanes and frequented both places. Even bowled in a league at Maple Lanes for a few years. And next door to Dang Hoe on the corner of Fullerton and Pulaski was Johnnie's Tap. Johnnie lived right next door to me at Kedvale and Belden. I was at 2254 Kedvale.. He was 2252 Kedvale.
