iPhone screen repair Any recommendations for somewhere to get my iPhone 5S screen repaired downtown? Not really looking to spend more than $150, but don’t want to...

It's slightly over your budget, but Apple will replace it for $169 (see https://support.apple.com/en-ca/iphone/repair/service/pricing). A couple of benefits - original screen rather than a lower-quality knock-off, and as often as not they swap it for another refurbished unit which will have a perfect outer case and typically improves the battery life. You can get it done at the Apple store in the Rideau Centre.

Not downtown, but in Greenbank square (Greenbank/Hunt club) is Cellular Pro, I was in and out in less than 30 mins and it was $115 I think for a new screen

Go to the Allo Allo on Bank St. It'll cost $80. The repair is really good. Though the replacement glass is not OEM, so when there's moisture it often doesn't read touch input. 98% of the other time, it works great.

Go to Cellular X St Laurent and ask for Rabi, he usually works in the evenings. Go Tuesday or Wednesday and you won't miss him.
He is really good at the work he does and you can also get 5$ to 10$ off if you nudge them for a discount a bit. (Remember to take cash ;)). The screens are Chinese made like every other vendor except for Apple but you can get them for good price - for the 5s I'm guessing around 100 to 120 $.
If you want to save more money I recommend repairing it yourself. It is super simple the only hard part is installing the front camera and sensors but if you buy something like this then you wouldn't even have to worry about that:

But if you are not comfortable doing that go and ask for Rabi - he's better than most in this kind of work. Remember to call them before hand to confirm their prices and if the part is available and if Rabi is there. It usually takes him 20ish minutes to do the repair.

It's not downtown, but pdabob in Bell Corner's at Palm Medic Canada (http://www.palmmediccanada.com/) is within your price range and does a good job.

I recommend Cellular Pro at 250 Greenbank Rd. I went there during the summer to fix the headphone jack on my N4, and the guy was super fast and friendly.

Phone repair in Ottawa (battery replacement), any recommendations? I have a Nexus 6P and the battery is starting to go. I watched a video on how to do it yourself and I...

I've done two Nexus 6Ps. You can order the battery on eBay for about 20. And the glass lens assembly for 10 on Amazon. This way if you break the glass, you have the part. It's really difficult to peel the glass off without breaking it. Often there are hairline cracks so it fails when peeling. Frankly, the hardest part is removing the back of the phone from the display. That isn't easy. Anyways, if you want to do it yourself, and want some help, I can give you a hand if you're willing to come to Barrhaven with the parts.

I bought my lg g3 battery at 2525 Carling Avenue. Give them a call and ask them if they can do it (613) 680-6188. I would suggest to have a look at kjiji though. There are some people who offer the service of replacing broken screens.

I replaced my 6P battery myself, but it was difficult. One of the harder battery replacement teardowns I've done. I hope that you can find a replacement place, but if not, the Nexus device subreddit has lots of helpful info. Good luck!

I called a couple phone repair stores and was quoted over 150$ for the replacement. Just decided it wasn't worth it and signed a new contract to get a new phone.

I know someone but he's a man, although he runs this business with his girlfriend https://www.facebook.com/455743801242145 Mobile Surgeons!! They are great. I had the same run in once I started dealing with Virgin's device protection, which apparently can only get me a new phone for a large amount of money!
