We have been with American Family for 30+ years and while their rates may not be the lowest (although I have from time to time looked at other rates and haven't found any much cheaper) I have to say that their customer service on claims is excellent. We have had a couple of claims and they have been there the next day to settle it. Never any problems with them.

Sheesh. That's ridiculous. Sorry you guys are having a heck of a time with them. State farm is pretty good as well. My mom has been with them since 1986 and they have treated her well. Easy claims, nice people. She goes through Larry Bettis in centerville. He is super nice and helpful, I'd recommend him to anyone.
