My sister has been diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma. (She's 63!) She's self-employed as a massage therapist and can't work because her leg is swollen so much, she can't...

My best friend set up a Go Fund Me for my son's expenses and it helped out us out so much. I am so forever GRATEFUL for the kindess of the people that helped us out. I don't believe you have to hit the goal in order to have the contributions deposited into your checking account. We weren't even close after the first month to the goal amount that she initially set up, but the next month she simply set up a monthly distrubtion date for it to be distrubuted into our personal checking account each month and it has always been there. Yes, they do take a 7 or 8%, but like Kim Zandstra stated, it's still a tremendous help during a difficult time.

Use youcaring.com instead. They don't charge like gofundme does. Not that we have anything in ours :p

My best friend is a massage therapist in Dr. Phillips. She’s said that message therapists **hate** the term “masseuse” because it has the ties to being, um, for more “recreational” purposes than medicinal, if you catch my drift. Most people don’t know this, so I like to point it out, because you don’t want to possibly offend the person who will be handling your back! :) Also, Hand & Stone in Dr. Phillips is incredible, to answer your original question. Good luck!
