Look up the good-cheap-fast triangle. This is a big day for you two and if you're looking for some quality photos I wouldn't recommend using a "cheap" photographer. If you have a wedding planner maybe ask him/her for a few options. There aren't any re-do's in a wedding. Other than that Congrats!

in a similar situation (4k total). i reached out to a friend in the business and he recommended a new-comer. http://www.katherineelizabethphotography.com/ she has the professional quality touch without the professional price tag. we nabbed her for 3 hours, basic package, no fancy shots, $825. we looked around quite a bit on different apps and search sites and found better prices, but the quality of the work seemed to suffer. she was able to work with us in making concessions and in the end, was worth spending a couple of extra bucks to get a quality finished product. one caveat, by default she maintains ownership of the copyright to your pictures. this isnt an issue for everyone and its implied that this is to facilitate self promoting of her business, but i wasnt comfortable with her having unlimited use of pictures that i would consider to be essentially family photos. she worked with us to put a limit on how she could use them and the process was pretty painless. just wanted to give a heads up.

I did one wedding, and I work with people's budgets. Usually people give me their price, what they can offer and I arrange a package for them. I usually ask for their price and what they want (top 5). The last wedding I did was also for graduates who had a small budget. I gave them all photos and edited 15 photos, I photographed their ceremony and before the ceremony, with a few of the reception. My turn around time is usually 2-3 weeks. Most people have very good cameras on their phones now. You could try using those. They also have something called a selfie stick that allows you to take pictures of yourself and a friend.
