We stayed at Blind Pass last year. Doc Fords in Captivated is a very nice restaurant. Go to the Bubble Room afterwards for dessert.

Good shopping is on Sanibel off periwinkle. Plenty of great restaurants on Captiva. Mucky Duck has great food and best sunsets.

We own at Blind Pass VRBO 250107. I have been going there since mid 80's. The grounds are well maintained, awesome pool, nice location on island. Either bike rental is good. Doc Fords on Rabbit Rd is close. Go to Ding Darling & shell museum. Lots of info in the club house@Blind Pass. Enjoy!!

FreeWay Cafe on the corner of 4 th & Sheridan now makes the East Side Cafe Onion Rings. Just as good as ever!

It was Across the Street first, then Ma Belles on Admiral/Sheridan. My dad used to have a Texaco@2 nd & Sheridan, so we ate there often.

The owners of Ma Bells had another, similar, place where you ordered via phone on the table. Same manager and similar menu. It was called "The Burger and the Bun". Located a couple of doors down from Furr's Cafeteria on 41 st & Garnett. That was somewhere around 1974, We used to stop there arter baseball games at Bear Stadium

There was also a King's Food Host downtown that had the phones. They were on main street. The one at 31 st & sheridan had the phones inside and also had drive up service outside like sonic. The cheese frenchies were the best and then they later added tuna frenchies. Ma Bells was on admiral east of sheridan and then the one at 51 st and harvard was called The Next Door Restaurant with basically the same menu.
