I've be using Dukes in the covered market for a couple of years now. Can't recommend them enough.

If you're in the area the Marston Barber is very good.

Gentlemens Barbers Oxford is my go to place, and I'm quite fussy with haircuts. I drive there from Abingdon to get my hair cut.

Youngmans on the High Street are great, a proper old-school barbershop.

The one in the golden cross did a good job but gave me a lid I didn’t ask for (a bouffant) even though he gave the man before the right lid.

The one on the Exam Schools side of the High is pretty good.

In Headington there's 2 good guys: * Armends Walk In Barber [[LINK](http://istanbul-barbers.business.site/)] * Istanbul Barbers [[LINK](http://www.walk-in.org.uk/)] Both cost around 11£ for a normal men's cut (cheaper if student/nhs etc), both will use machine and/or blade shave. Additionally at Istanbul barber they will offer to tidy up eyebrows and ear hair for free. Source: Been living in Headington 10+ years.

Amends in Headington and Dukes in the Covered Market are both decent.

Honestly the quality won't change much. I just go where it's most convenient. Been going to Littlemore Barber shop and it's been great.
