Does anyone have any recommendations for a web designer? It's time to get a website up and running! Now... Do I go .net or .org? Still can't make up my mind!
Jennifer A. replied:
Pft PC
Meaghan B. replied:
Boo PC!:-) I'm sure there is a program for PCs.
Dave G. replied:
And .org was originally intended for non-profits, but .net was originally intended for Internet service providers. What about a hyphenated dot com? Like Jennifer-Antkowiak.com or whatever.
Stacey H. replied:
I use a hyphen. So - if anyone on this thread wants to sell or buy a home.... www.hamel-homes.com
Jennifer A. replied:
Well those are exactly my reasons for wanting that too but jenniferantkowiak.com is taken :(
Michael G. replied:
one hyphen is ok... more than one and search engines assume you're spam (quality-drugs-from-canada.com). People will assume .com over .net, and will assume no hyphen, but let's be honest... unless they know you they're probably not going to just stumb...See More

Dave G. replied:
bemildred.com is available...
Meaghan B. replied:
once you own a domain, it is easy to set up different pages for different things that you access on their own or through the index page (what we think of as "home" page). you might have jenniferantkowiak.net/headshot or whatever. you only need one domain name.
