Thanks to everyone for your advice. I spoke with Jewish Hospital in Louisville Ky, the said my insurance wasn't good enough for them also, but she was nice enough to...

James, unfortunately I don't know anything about Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. I am certain someone on here will know something about it however. I know that getting everything we need concerning insurances, supplemental insurances, doctors, hospitals, meds, etc. can be a full time job. Keep me updated on how things are going, and if I can give you any information, I certainly will.

Really, I'm so so sorry to hear that. Disappointed as well. But, am very happy to read that Indy is going to work with your medicaid....thank God. Let us know when you get a date up there. Have they sent you any info etc yet? Jewish Hospital in Louisville Kentucky is good, i just cann't go because my insurance isn't good enough for them either. Heather i never heard of CaringVoices,i called the insurance board in ohio and they said no one will give me a supplemental plan because i'm under 65. The only place i can get in is Cleveland, i was hoping to not go back there, it's 5 hours away and the coast is so much to keep going up there. I'm stuck here not knowing what to do to get insurance that can get me into a closer Hospital for the transplant.
Heather K. replied:
James, I'm not sure if these folks would be able to help or not. But, PF is a disease they work with. They have grants to help pay for supplimental insurance plans. Perhaps they can also help to direct you to someone who can help find a plan for you. http://www.caringvoice.org/

Hi Debbie! My son goes to pediatrician so Dr Ana Cerna Helfner and Dr Innis O'Rourke at 3 School St. We have been very satisfied with the care. My doctor has been Dr. Leonard Triehaft in New Hyde Park and he is excellent. My hours have changed, so I will be going to the office of Dr Chudy and Schinder, too! I met Dr. Chudy and she is very personable and took a good history.
