If Joanna is perfectly healthy, a regular MD is a good choice. If she has issues, an internal medicine dr would be better, in my opinion. They have had more education, more in depth study of the body than a general practitioner. Internal Medicine Group at Lourdes Medical Pavilion has an awesome team. My grandparents, parents, myself, and Chuck were/are patients.

Andy, I have heard good things about Dr Tolar, as well. Dr Lee Meals is also good. I never had problems with depression until my youngest child died. It rocked my world and changed my life forever! When things out of our control happen, we all react, one way or another. It makes you humble. A good support system is the most important thing of all!! Just knowing you will be alright eventually and knowing you have people who love you standing there behind you means EVERYTHING!!!! Even the strongest of people struggle occasionally!!!!
