We recently moved to the area and are interested in dog training. Our dog goes to k9kampus for day care and they, of course,...

Wisneys way. Only way to go imo. I’ve had my dogs trained in multiple places and wisney is by far the best at not only training but UNDERSTANDING why a dog does what he does and how to counter act it.

We used Asia from Off Leash K9. Our dog is so well behaved. We rescued her at a year old. She is a super hyper labrador. A month after we rescued her she broke her leg (just by sheer force and speed playing ball). 8 weeks of no exercise on a hyper dog did a number to her mentally. We shipped her off for 2 weeks ( they also have regular one on one training) and she is the best dog ever. She doesn't wear her e-collar unless I am walking her. She listens to commands but is still a dog for the kids. I no longer worry about her jumping on people. If I need her to sit and stay for a minute she listens. She goes to school every day to pick up and drop off kids and when she gets out of car it doesn't matter if someone is walking a dog in front of our house, she doesn't run off chasing them. I highly recommend them!

[http://greatscottdogtraining.com/](http://greatscottdogtraining.com/) I just finished my STAR puppy program with Christine Scott. She also does GCG and a couple other classes. Really liked our class with her, all positivity training, and lots of 1 on 1 even during group classes.

You have to be careful when choosing a dog trainer. It's a completely unregulated field so literally any abusive ignorant jerk can call themselves a dog trainer. People have been giving you some recommendations to people that are extremely ignorant and uneducated about animal behavior which is why they use prongs and e collars. E collars are SHOCK COLLARS. Trainers will lie and tell you it's not a shock collar because it has a vibration or sound setting. That doesn't change the fact it's a SHOCK COLLAR. Give this article a read

I'm a certified and credentialed dog trainer myself but am away from the area for a couple months. I highly recommend https://rockindawgs.com/
There is no reason to train with pain or fear. You might extinguish the behavior with those methods but it will cause significant fallout. You don't have the same risks and issues when using positive reinforcement. This isn't my opinion this is what the decades of science and legitimate experts with PhD's in animal behavior say.

Haven't gone there myself, but have a coworker who recommends [Indian River Dog Training Club](https://irdtc.org/home). Looks like they do CGC and competitions (agility and obedience) as well.

Keep me posted Kevin Dandrea. I have little ones so I know how hard it can be when family is not available to help. I stay home mon through thur. With my 3.5 year old so my only issue would be that I leave at 220 and don't return home til 3 ish from getting my 2 boys from school. I'm a ucf anthropology student and working on homeschool curriculum for summer school we always do and I have my dcf 40 hrs, so kids would be in good and fun hands! (Speaking of fun... my lil girl and I are off to do some canvas painting so I'll be around later! )

Fairytale Images is now hiring sales agents! This is a networking and sales position, so the more people you know and the more outgoing you are, the better you will do. Initial hires will receive free business cards, marketing classes, group support, and electronic marketing materials to share via email, social media, etc. You will distribute the marketing materials, collect leads, and make appointments for the owner. You will receive 25% commission on all booking fees and product purchases. You will also be eligible for free family photoshoots for yourself and children (1 hour per month). This is a commission based job opportunity with no fees to you whatsoever. Not a MLM company or pyramid scheme. I am the owner and want to put together a team of individuals to expand my business, I also want to eventually train and hire full time photographers to work as employees of my business. If you are a stay at home mom and want to have updated images of your children for free, this is an opportunity for you to do that while also making extra cash on the side, or a full-time income (depending on your sales ability and hours put in). Please private message me, call me, or email me for more information and to inquire on how to start. There are no restrictions to hire, ages 15 and up.
