Brevard Health Alliance has dental clinics at both the Sarno and Rockledge locations. You may also want to try the Brevard County Health Department and Space Coast Volunteers In Medicine-- long wait for services right now but free or very low cost (I have worked at all of these dental clinics). Care Credit is excellent but you do have to plan on making low monthly payments on it-- most dental offices offer it and it can also be used for your pet's veterinarian visits in some places (Care Credit is basically a low interest credit card).

Try to apply for Care Credit(carecredit.com). I'm in the same boat - no insurance, needed a dentist, applied and got approved. I don't think BHA has dental.

Yes absolutely. You can go to indeed.com or download the app on a smart phone and then type in dental assistant and I put Titusville and these came up. Sometimes for me I also put Brevard county or my zip code. There is a way to search for only full or part time or any and all. Also it's very convenient on the phone because you literally apply on your phone when you upload your resume with indeed. I literally can apply to 10 places in 10 minutes if they fit what I needed. The apply with your indeed resume on the smart phone is so convenient. Even on the computer it's convenient. It's free to sign up.

Donna, I used to work at a dental office.. In the beginning of the year they do Give Kids a Smile program. http://www.ada.org/en/public-programs/give-kids-a-smile/ They will do a treatment plan then assign you to a local dentist. The patient didn't pay anything... Hope this helps. God bless!

Wendi-thank you so much for the info, but I was at Treasure Coast dental in Sebastian last December and had a tooth pulled & they charged me 100.00 with my share of cost, I will call them tomorrow and see if they can give me an estimate for repair and an exam. Btw-I would never deceive them & write no insurance when in fact the truthful & honest answer in my opinion is I have share of cost. Integrity & honesty are always the best policy & I always try to remember the phrase what would Jesus do.

Brevard Health Alliance will do exams,simple extractions, they also will do dentures for about half price. I know they're trying to hire more dentist to be able to get people scheduled sooner than months out. Also check Treasure Coast Community Health as they have an oral surgeon.

I don't know her personal circumstances but I was assuming that she may not have dental insurance or is looking for free or lost cost services at this time. Lots of great dentists out there but Care Credit only helps some people--was just trying to offer help.
