[Big Dogs BBQ](https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g34260-d7800237-Reviews-Big_Dogs_Barbeque-Grant_Valkaria_Brevard_County_Florida.html) - a food trunk permantely parked at the Citgo station in Grant. Love that place. Malabar Moe's a biker bar with biker bar style food, but it's good. Beer, wings, good Fish N Chips there. Irashiai 2 in Palm Bay. A wonderful family owned Ramen / Sushi joint. Say hi to Mimi.

Shells is a chain. There are a TON of local restaurants here, from just about every cuisine. What are you looking for specifically? Cuban/Puerto Rican? Wings and burgers? Jamaican? Thai? Korean? Japanese? Brazilian? Colombian? German? Italian? French? Beachfront or waterfront?

The Shack. Seafood on the river. Great casual place. I also love The Mansion and Meg O'Malley's. Beach side, The Jungle is delicious!

Italian: Brooklyn Pizza (it looks like a hole in the wall pizza joint but their entrees are hand cooked to order) you wonāt regret it. Their always busy for good reason. Asian: Umami for sushi. Thai Viet for Pho. Fine dining: I hate to admit it but Cafe Margaux has good food. French cooking with no frills. But itās fine dining so expect $30-50 entrees. And their Tomato Bisque is the best soup Iāve ever had. Breakfast: Backwater. They are busy all the time but itās amazing. Also Oh, Biscuit is great. Other stuff: Salt and Sweet is a polish restaurant that is the real deal. Great prices. Take the risk and try it.

I am also a big fan of Wagon Wheel. For Vietnamese... Pho Viet... Yum!!!

I'm rather new to the area myself, but Grills just north of Pineda is my favorite restaurant so far. Open to more suggestions, especially fresh seafood...

The Nomad - new American/whatever good stuff. Irashiai II - Japanese Salt and Sweet - Polish Chez Quan's - Latin and Thai Thai Kitchen, Thai Thai House, and a few others - Thai There's also some good Jamaican and many types of Latin foodscattered about central and south Brevard. Also, obviously, Cuban. I like Melbourne's El Ambia Cubano, but I've had other good stuff all the way down towards... Grant?
Mangetsu in downtown Melbourne is great for Korean. There's a british pub called Archie's (run by a couple from England) at the NW corner of Lake Washington and Wickham - went there recently and it was really good. Taste of India is really good as well (Wickham road closer to Sarno)
Long Doggers is a local chain and they have a few different locations - they're pretty good too.
Just asked the wife, also look into:
- Nomad Cafe
- Yellow Dog Cafe
- Kreiderman's BBQ (probably didn't spell that right)
- Hemingway's by the Melbourne Square Mall
- Telly's Chinese
- Red Ginger (chinese)
- Bearded Chef (palm bay road)
... this isn't exactly a restaurant, but if you want some Thai food and some kick-ass Pho, head to the Thai temple on Aurora (just north of Eau Gallie) on Sundays, if you're up for an early lunch. They have a pavilion with vendors who sell food, almost like a food flea market. It's at a temple, but there's nothing pushy about it at all. The proceeds go to fund their temple, but they don't try to proselytize or anything. We try and go around 11:30, because by 12:30 they're already out of lots of stuff and tell you that you should have got there earlier. :)

Amiciās and Bella Luna for Italian. We love Fujiyama for hibachi. Meg OāMalleyās downtown has always been a favorite of ours. Little Phillies on Beachside if youāre into cheesesteaks. I know a lot more in the central Brevard area myself, but all of the above are yummy.
The broken barrel. Their website is very 2000 s Myspace-esque, but don't let that dissuade you. It's like the only restaurant that I have been to multiple times down here.
