Looking for a GOOD obgyn. Unfortunately mine will no longer be accepting my insurance next month which is very disappointing.

Halifax obgyn also is great. Dr. Carbiener delivered my last and Stavoy is awesome too.
Lysah C. replied:
I have something negative to say about Dr. Carbiener .... I had cervical cancer in the 90's .... she was giving me a Pap .... rolls back in her chair ... looks over my records and says "oh, you had cervical cancer .... It's back" .... it WASN'T back but I just about died from worry .... she assured me on a stack of bibles that SHE would CALL me with the results .... I got a card in the mail saying everything was fine and when I called her office to find out why she didn't call personally like she promised I could not get past her receptionist .... DO NOT GO TO Carbiener!!
Dawn C. replied:
Dr Carbiener she is wonderful. She delivered my daughter.
Danielle C. replied:
Dr. Vagovic acted like we were part of the family. Even took a picture with us and the baby right after birth. He always have hugs, every appointment. His staff call him tigger bc he's so excited like every baby is his first delivery. He'll talk you through anything and has seen almost anything. I have had 3 separate ob/Gyns and he was by far the best. He'll make you laugh and be there when problems arise, with expertise.
Fran G. replied:
Dr White.. He is awesome. I hated Volusia ob. Dr Desai is an ass. I needed surgery and they would not get me in before 10/6.

Dr. Carbiener was a godsend for me and my family. She made sure 100% that my time as an "old" pregnant woman with many complications not going to be a problem! I received calls from her personally anytime i called for her and she had me in as much as I wanted everyone I started to panic about something being wrong.
Dr. Modad is wonderful. Her staff is amazing also. They do a payment plan until the birth of the baby for whatever your insurance didn't cover. She does house calls also.
Shayla M. replied:
Dr. Vagovic is in Daytona, but hes worth the drive. Don't go to Dr. Modad. I almost died under her care. I had a rare pregnancy complication called hellp syndrome and she failed to recognize my symptoms and I was rushed to the E.R and the doctors there delivered my baby at 24 weeks. My son is still in the NICU:(
Jeri M. replied:
Halifax in Daytona!!! I have been with them 11 years and Pat Kruse has delivered my 4 & is about to deliver my 5 th child!!!! I would not go anywhere else!
Kelsey D. replied:
Do not go to Dr. Modad. It is not worth the stress. Dr. Vagovic is located in daytona at Halifax and him and his staff have been nothing but wonderful to me.
Kaila P. replied:
Dr. Modad was great during pregnancy and during my delivery!
Theresa M. replied:
Dr. Modad I think she is great, she delivered my last one and I go to her now, she likes what she does and is a very caring doctor.
Marcia J. replied:
Dr Kirdnaul in st Augustine at flagler hospital. He is the best!!!! Great experience when I had my son.
Christina K. replied:
I would not recommend Dr. Modad, had a horrible experience with her and so has others. I would suggest OBGYN Associates.
Marta M. replied:
Dr Brown at Flagler hospital....
Bri W. replied:
Dr. Toppi, is also out for a couple of months she's currently battling cancer =( I couldn't find any good OBGYN's in Palm coast. I go to OBGYN and Associates, they are in the Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine and they are AMAZING. I have never felt more comfortable or welcomed at an office, and they will take the time to answer any questions you may have no matter how insignificant!
Bri W. replied:

There's one in Daytona. Dr. Gilmore. She is very nice and efficient
Shayla V. replied:
do NOT go to Dr. Modad. I have her now and shes nothing but problems & i know people who have had issues with her as well. But I'm switching to Dr. Vagovic in Daytona. I've heard great things about him from multiple people. I'm pretty sure he takes Blue Cross.

Elizabeth S. replied:
Yes United health care does. Just call
Michelle H. replied:
I delivered in St.Augustine as well. My pediatrician is Dr.Ng. He will be the one to check your baby out after u have him if u request him. I highly recommend him. He did both my boys circumcision and he did a great job. My insurance did not cover it and it was $300. They do it once your baby is out of the hospital usually around the time they are 9 days old but prefer to do it before your baby is 2 weeks
Katie N. replied:
http://www.savingsons.org/.../should-i-circumcise-pros... Just a few facts on circumcision^^ And circumcision is purely esthetic if not for religious reasons. If properly cared for the risk of infection is minimum. There are many functions to that foreskin and if men weren't supposed to have it they wouldn't be born with it. An uncircumsised penis sanitary as long as its cleaned properly just like any other part of the body.
Shanna G. replied:
Tiffany Tussey they do cover. I had this insurance they paid my son's 100% just five months ago. Megan Marie Henson, you need to speak with your OB and Ped. My OB did my son's, Women's Care in Ormond Beach.
So have a question for recent mothers.. im really unhappy with my doctor and am in need for a new obgyn.. I have ghi as my insurance provider not medicare. . I would...
Npc T. replied:

Charlotte R. replied:
I have United Healthcare through hubby's employer, and I recall seeing others who had my same insurance through Medicaid, so maybe they do take yours. Call tomorrow and ask. I really do think you'll like it there. The birthing rooms are AMAZING! They fed me subs after hours because I was breastfeeding, too! lol It was such a great experience. Makes me want to have "just one more," but I have enough ;) Good luck!
Does anyone know any gynecologist in palm coast or ormand area that takes stay well Medicaid? (Not pregnancy related) women's care won't except non pregnancy related...

Can I get a good recommendation for a local Obgyn that delivers at Flagler or Halifax? I'm 28weeks and possibly looking to switch before the baby, if not right after....
Abigail P. replied:
