I once bought tires at Big O Tires. After selecting 4 they gave me my receipt and I noticed on the receipt they had charged me $100 more then I was quoted.. They were so sorry .That is when I found America's tires on Ramon and Date Palm.

Service and free rotations at any of their nationwide locations. Prices are competitive with Costco too.

I've been going to Paul's Depot Garage in Hartford for years (Boulevard toward Prospect turns into Capitol and it's the first garage on the right. Just barely in Hartford). Joe is incredibly honest and does great work. Very very reasonably priced and fast service. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I had couple of bad experiences with Modern. They charged me more than retail for a part ( a coil) and damaged a tire of mine, would not take responsibility for it and charged me full retail for a replacement. Capitol Auto on Capitol in Hartford has done an excellent job at a more than reasonable rate since.

Bob's Auto on Grassmere St in WH; he opened a one bay (his father owned the gas station that used to be across from Yanni's in Ngtn. Bob has some physical limitations (back) but he does the best work and does not believe in overcharging a customer. I take my cars there and trust him with my daughters car (Bob 860-888-2618), tell him I recommended you, he is usually in by 9.
