Mark Ellis in Palm Desert... He a Ouidad specialist.. It's a method for cutting curly hair.. If you are unfamiliar it's worth googling because I had never heard of it!...and from what I know, he's the only one in the valley. He is AMAZING!!

there is literally nothing Natalie cant do. 12 years in the game, Vidal Sassoon trained and a Network Educator for Bumble&Bumble. Till I met Natalie I was cutting my own hair because I was afraid to pay good money and end up hating my hair but that is something I never worry about. She gives the most thorough consultation and even informs you on what she is doing every step of the way. Just a plug for the best in the desert.

Anne Hebert is right, curly hair is COMPLETELY different than other hair. Many stylists will SAY they can cut curly hair, but unless I see people or photos of people with a great curly cut, I'm not convinced. I've been burned before.

Amy at Turquoise salon in Palm Springs. She doesn't charge an arm and leg like most listed here. I get my haircut with her for $30 (mine is short) and she did my chemical straightening to get rid of the curls for $100. Other places are at least $350 for the same thing.
