Casey- I second what Brittany said about The Starting Gate. It definitely is a religious centered program but not judgmental at all and accepting of all. That place is special! My son has been there full time since it opened in 2014 and he is graduating Pre-K next month and moving onto Kindergarten. He loves it there and has learned so much. Check it out - http://www.startinggatepreschool.com.

https://www.facebook.com/480558488741238 The Starting Gate would be my number 1 choice! Our daughter loved it there. And I can assure you I wouldn't allow my kids to be around anyone that wasn't accepting of all lifestyles. Good luck with your choice. :-)

I'm looking for a preschool or daycare center for my 4 year old in the area any recommendations?

https://www.facebook.com/480558488741238 The Starting Gate has been amazing for us. This is our third year there and we have two children there this year! Can't recommend them highly enough:D I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have or Nikki Clifford Tardiff is the director and she'd be happy to give you a tour. Amazing staff. Kindergarten teachers have been blown away by the students coming into their classes that first went to The Starting Gate!

Kirsten W. replied:
I would agree that Starting Gate is the best in the area as my son has been there full time for the last two years and is currently in a Pre-K/4 yr old class. However, I believe they may be completely booked and have a waiting list. My older son attended Effort Preschool (before SG was open) and we had a good experience there. If you contact SG and they are indeed not taking a new students, I would recommend that you contact Effort.
Suggestions on preschool...Effort or The Starting Gate?

Jacob went to Effort part time when he was 3 and 4 and he did fine. Josh has been at The Starting Gate full time since I returned to work last year (2 yr old class last year and 3 yr old class this year) and he has loved it! I would definitely recommend SG! And it's closer to your house:) PM me if you want to talk more about it. <3
