Caterer recommendations for lobster boil? My wife transitioned from vegetarian to pescetarian thanks to a fantastic lobster boil a few years back. Now a few years...
Lol ok guy. This is pointless to cater out. It’s the easiest thing in the world to cook. The main thing will be getting an ability to boil a big amount of water. Go to Walmart and buy a propane powered turkey deep fryer...

Fill with water and bring to a boil.
Throw in as many LIVE lobsters as will fit in the pot.
Boil for EXACTLY 8 MINUTES!!
Remove lobsters and serve. They will be bright red and perfectly cooked. There is no seasoning or killing them in advance.
Serve with melted butter. Like literally melt some butter in a pot and put in a dish. Crack open lobsters and dip in butter while eating.
-I’m from New England and have done this 100x. Typically you also serve some boiled potatoes as a side.
For utensils use a nut cracker or this kind of cracker... https://www.walmart.com/ip/Norpro-Heavy-Duty-Nut-Lobster-Seafood-Shell-Shellfish-Crab-Cracker-6-25-New/139566068

I know sam's chowder house as a lobster bake package. they give you a big pot, all the food, utensils, etc. I've actually never done it but have eaten at sam's before and it's pretty good.

Well if you want to learn how to cook a lobster it's super easy. You boil up a large pot of water and throw a lobster into the boiling water for 8 - 15 minutes depending on the size. Melt some butter for dipping. Boil some potatoes and corn to go with as well. One of the easiest meals you can make really: http://www.lobsterfrommaine.com/boiling-lobster/ Plus side is that I think most people are OK with eating lobster that's not warm so you don't really have to worry about timing it as much.
