Bay area wedding planner here! Old Whaling Station Historic Adobe and Gardens. Big Sur Grange is also beautiful and is under a $5 k rental fee. If you're open to Half Moon Bay, Hastings House is beautiful too!

My iPhone did an excellent job on our Camino, but if you want something like a point and shoot (anything else would be heavy) Canon makes great, small cameras. Nikon as well. I have a Canon G10 and a G15, one step up from a p & s that aren't very heavy that take amazing quality photos.
