Looking up ideas for a Camino tattoo. Would you be willing to share a photo of yours? Any recommendations for tattoo artists in Santiago would be appreciated? Did you...
Lots of great info on this page for pilgrims that are currently walking & preparing to walk the Camino. Wondering if by chance anyone has gotten a tattoo in Santiago to...
I've been thinking since I love tattoos I would like to get one representing my Camino after I complete it. Itd be extra cool if I got it while still in Spain! Anyone...

Somewhere about halfway along the Camino Frances, I came to the conclusion that we were really going to do this, that is, complete the Camino, and that a tattoo would be the best souvenir. Online I made an appointment with Dr. Morticious in Santiago. I was really happy with my decision.

Thanks guys, love all your art! I don't know what design I want yet but I'm sure it will incorporate the shell. I have a quote on my ribcage "a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam" (with a pale blue dot above the i to represent it's origins "the pale blue dot" by Carl Sagan). Which basically is a reminder to myself that all the problems we think are so huge and important really arent in the scheme of things, earth itself is just a tiny speck in the universe and our time here is finite. So was thinking it might be cool to get my Camino tattoo on the other ribcage with a quote. But also like the foot idea.
Also, I want to get a Camino tattoo in Santiago. Any suggestions of places I could walk in and get it done?

Sagrado Corazón

Try Black Line Tattoo. But you might have to walk in and make an appointment. Depends on their schedule. They also will want to spend time with you to make sure your design is exactly what you want. Great integrity.

I went to The Black Line but you'll probably need an appointment. They did a great job.
Camino Tattoos: Is there one shop in Santiago that everyone uses and one must book weeks ahead?
Nan H. replied:
Black Line Tattoo in the old city. Super nice people, super clean and conscientious. No need for an appointment weeks in advance, although they might not be able to do it on a walk in basis - you might have to make an appointment for later in the day or the next day. Go see them as soon as possible if you're limited for time in Santiago.
Morgan L. replied:
Sagrado Corazon! Very professional and kind. I went into their shop and they had an opening within an hour. No need to call ahead. It was my first tattoo, and 100% worth it! Sorry about my pasty leg haha! I was never blessed with a beautiful Camino tan!
What a long strange trip it been. Wr arrived in Santiago this morning.
Just a quick question ... if someone was thinking of getting a tattoo to commemorate the trip,...
Nathalie G. replied:
I did one for me and my husband in Santiago. There is Old Skull Tattoo, close to the big Park in Santiago.
Meg H. replied:
Sagrada Corazon near Ivar's place and the Rua Nova.
Hey everyone! Want to say hi ! Also have a question - anyone know a tattoo place in Leon or Santiago ? A friend would really like to get the shell while we are walking!...
Dennis J. replied:
There's a couple of places in Santiago. Can't recommend since didn't use them. I was referred to Sagrada Tattoo by a couple of locals with a lot of ink in Santiago.
My friends and I (three sixty-ish women) want to get a discreet shell tattoo at the end of our Camino in Santiago. We started in SJPP and will be in Santiago in less...
Best place to get a tattoo in Santiago? Ideas for something smallish, affordable and Camino-themed, (possibly including my 60th birthday on the walk in November)?
