IF that fails, I found the above on Google. I have a neighbor who runs a licensed day care for at least the past 10 years. I do NOT know if she has any openings or expects any at the time you are planning. Not all the time, but once in a while, she puts a sign out in her yard when she has openings.

Depending on what you are looking for I have a couple recommendations.
I have worked for a few facilities around town and have heard good and bad things about others as well.
My favorite place to be employed was TinyTown USA. It’s at 98th and Giles. Infants are in one room until they crawl, then are put in another with other crawlers until they turn 1/start walking. Very nice for keeping the bigger babies off your newborn! My son started out there at 4 months and continued until I became a private nanny.
The Goddard school is also fantastic, I have a friend who worked there and cannot say enough good things about it!
There is a Facebook page Omaha Childcare and another one for Licensed in home centers as well. The latter verifies the licensing of In home centers who post when they have availability. Definitely worth looking into.
Congratulations on the little one!!

Primrose Schools. You can't go wrong. Secured entrances. Cameras at all entrance/exit doors. Allergy conscious. Developed their own age appropriate curriculum, including an accredited kindergarten program. I'm biased, because I worked with them for 10 years, but I wouldn't send my own (non existent as of now) kids anywhere else.

I don't have any specific recommendations in that area, just some general thoughts. In-home daycares are great for infants. They seem to get more one on one time, and they become a favorite of the daycare. That being said, I prefer a center. In-home places have sick days and vacation days, so you have to still pay them, while paying your backup as well, or taking all your vacation time based on your daycares schedule. It's a huge inconvenience that needs to be considered. Also, once they hit toddler age, they learn a lot being around other kids their age and centers tend to have more learning involved, but that's a tendency rather than a rule.

If you look at the cost of top centers it’s not an unreasonable stretch to a nanny. Having domestic help isn’t that expensive and the level of care is better. Finding the right person is tricky but it’s worth it.

If there were a streetcar, the line would be absolutely crammed with highly rated affordable day care centers. ETA: I know. I'm not a real jerk. I just play one on the internet.

For twins Mylissa I highly recommend a nanny situation ...it will be soo worth it....when one gets sick, the other gets sick and sickness will come with daycare. As a provider I can honestly say your twins will flourish in a nanny setting, I also am in full favor of a nanny cam set up, its not being distrustful, its being smart and making sure your babies are safe and nurtured....Id do that for a day or two every 3 - 6 months just to make sure all is well. Paying for two in ft daycare... You may as well pay a little extra in there for some dinner meals made and/or "light" housekeeping so focus stays on girls and nanny doesnt get overwhelmed. I have "very" mixed emotions about finding anyone off "care.com" or whatever its called. Do your own pr, your own background checks in every state they've lived, check with dhhs for any prior complaints that wont show up on backgrounds.... Ask alot of questions to her family and friends so they have to open up & offer character conversation....for example.... Heres a very simple question to ask a friend .....tell me about a favorite trip you went on with sally.., what were your favorite things to do.....or, " were the drinks good...... These are simple questions but when you ask her friends you find out alot about character and what is fun to her and does she drink alot? But they feel youre just having a conversation , they wont stop to think of certain answers because of that. On the other hand you will be learning alot about her. Also , when interviewing leave a couple dollars in plain sight , make sure you run into another room for a second and god willing it will still be there when you return. Another good interview test is have a couple friends swing by with their kids and make sure kids are noisy and excited so you can observe her response when things get crazy with kids around her.......

I don't know if she still has openings but my son used to go to Candi Care in Bellevue and we loved it. She has secured access so you can only get into her home if you have a code, she did lots of holiday parties, crafts, fenced in back yard with lots of play equipment, etc.
