Few things first. 1. Make sure the smell isn’t coming from the bowl itself, pin point where it is coming from 2. If coming from bowl or basin, clean it. 2.a. Water trap should prevent all smells from bowl, except residual poopy. Mold can cause some horrific smells from the basin up top. 3. If smell is coming from base of toilet after cleaning call Lovell plumbing & HVAV (859) 987-2925. I love these guys, saved me a whole heating unit when I bought my house, would trust them with anything. The smell from the base can come from a leaky seal, which means the doody is in your structure. Get on it ASAP.

I used Lairson Plumbing last time we had an issue and they were great. Two brothers came out. Fixed the issue and left a bill. Didn't have to pay when service was rendered because they didn't take cards. Wasn't expensive
