I tend to wear flat boots, ones that have good solid rubber soles. I often have to be doing shoots outdoors on different terrain, so boots protect my feet a lot more than something else comfortable, like ballet flats. On a whim I bought these [yes... of all places to buy shoes - eBay!] - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/261213127225?var=560198297244... - and they've got a VERY solid sole and so far I've been able to wear them for full days of shooting with no complaining from my feet. So that's what I'm wearing these days.

As a professional photographer, it is imperative that I hire MUA's with great skills. One of the top MUA is Corie Lee Rino - used by many of the pro photographers for shoots often. For hair, Katrina Ruiz is a NAHA hair designer. Whomever you chose, look at their work, especially around the eyes.
