From my niece: recommend Lauriol Plaza in DC for Latin American food and superb margaritas. Russia House also in DC for excellent eastern European cuisine. Around Fort Meade (Laurel /Russett Green area) there's not much except for Mega Chicken for the best pollo a la brasa and homemade Mayo. The Dutch Country Market has all natural groceries, fantastic sweets and delicious stuffed pretzels! Around Annapolis I would say Buddy's Crabs and Ribs in the heart of downtown. Sam's on the Waterfront is a beautiful place in Chesapeake Harbour to go that is mostly for locals and you can sit right by the water while people come to eat in their boats. So many great places everywhere and now I'm nostalgic and hungry

Try The Milton Inn, it's a bit pricey, but excellent food! www.miltoninn.com I've dined there a few times when I worked/lived in the Baltimore area.

Has anyone tried the new restaurant that replaced Grrenhouse Grill? I was sorry to see Greenhouse go. Want to try the new one. Don't know the name of it now.
