Please look locally first. We bought a very nice 900 spring count pillow top Serta Perfect Day from Big Lots a few years ago, it has held up very well. The queen was more than your budget, but they had other selections there as well.

There is a place in Trussville I think the name is Furniture Direct. It is right behind McDonalds on the Gadsden hwy. if you take I20 to 459 and take the Trussville exit go straight across Gadsden hwy at the light and it should be on your right just as you cross the hwy.

I don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but try American Freight in Trussville. Their website has some pricing. We got our entire living room there for $800 flat, tax included. Couch, loveseat, two end tables, coffee table, and two lamps. I know you aren't looking for furniture, but that lets you know how good the prices are!
