Dr Liss in Hanover was more than wonderful for my son when he was only four years old. Took time to look at a Lego magazine with him while he sat in exam chair before they began and was more than willing to allow for extra time for him to spit into rinse sink so he didn't have to have suction during exam (he was very afraid of the noise when he was small)

Our whole family of 7 have been going to Dr. Jim Aubert who owns Hanson Family Dental on Route 14 near Hanson Town Hall on 58. He has lived here in Pembroke for years. I was there this morning. Everyone there works like a big family. It will be well worth your visit.

We used to go to Dr. Kepener until he retired and were recommended by several people to go to Dr David Bastien in Marshfield. However Dr Kepner was very unique in that he did most of his own cleanings. You will find in most offices they have dental hygienist that do it .We've had great luck with everyone there . Even my children love him and one of my younger son has had fillings.He is super careful to to make sure that you are comfortable.

My Insurance wasnt taken in Norwell or Duxbury.. but we found Dr Paul Miralgia on sandwich str in Plymouth and he is fantastic .. never any issues so far with billing at all:)

we started out at Norwell and I switched to Duxbury Children's dentistry (Dr Joy). When my kids were much smaller and it was hard to get out of the house in the am we had an 8:15 am appt I got there ontime with a chk in hand to pay my outstanding balance of $62 dollars only to be told they canceled my appt because I hadn't paid my bill yet. It was only since the last appt before that when Skylar had a filling so it's not like it was hundreds of dollars that was outstanding for months. The kids were both so bummed (they were either 3 and 6 or 4 and 7 at the time) they couldn't go to the dentist but they didn't try to work with us at all so I left very frustrated and never went back. Just felt like they didn't care about the customer just the money.

The best I have found is Norwell Pediatric Dentistry! They are the nicest people and so kid friendly! They have the kids pick out sunglasses for the visit, a toy for the chair and they print an adorable pic of your little one and send it home w/ you! Plus they do a wonderful job! My son had fun at the dentist:)

Dr Hassan only charged us $1,500. That was two years ago. Maybe the plastic prices went way up? just kidding

I went through a lot with my jaw and clenching. IMHO It is worth it to go to Tufts in Boston. I went through a lot of dentists and then found Dr. Mehta at Tufts and he was wonderful.

My mouthguard at Tufts was about $1200. It took several visits to get it exactly right but I think that was because I messed around with other mouth guards provided by other dentists before I finally properly fitted at Tufts. I did try the one that only fits onto your front teeth. It was a bad choice for me and actually loosened my front teeth. Again, so very important to go to someone who specializes in TMJ. It sounds like Dr. Hassan is a good choice. Dr. Mehta at Tufts is not taking patients right now (I checked their website) but they have other doctors there who have been taught by him. If you don't get what you need from Dr. Hassan you will be fine at Tufts. As others said, just check your insurance. Mine didn't cover any of it and I think with appointments, fittings, mouth guards etc. I was into the whole thing for well over $3000.00.

Having worked at an insurance company working on oral surgery tmj requests it can be hard to find one contracted with your plan. So first I would call your member services and ask for a list of covered tmj providers and then go from there. Also last I knew Dr. Mehta was working out of the country for some time. But at tufts there is Dr. Corriea and more. Best of luck.

If Dr. Colton in Norwell can help you, I'd go to him. He also teaches and works in Boston.

Google Dr. Mehta. He is renowned. Students from all over come to Tufts to study under him. He is specifically at The Craniofacial Pain Center. I cannot tell you enough that this guy knows his stuff.

Just a head's up. The mouth guards at Dr. Hassan's office cost $4,000.00 as of August 2015, and many health/dental insurance plans do not cover them. To me, they have been worth the money as the guards relieved my daughter's TMJ symptoms, but I must admit, I was thrown by the cost.
