Looking for some reccomendations for a vet to do a lameness workup (needs xrays) on an older horse and take a look at a navicular horse. Our current vet is just not...

Christy Cable, at Early Winter Equine, highly recommend her. I used her to evaluate and treat my horses lameness issues when other vets suggested I retire him or put him down. He is now happy and fully recovered, thank to Christy!!

For navicular, might try Lima Veterinary Center. He has a new approach that according to my trimmer, has worked out much better than GVEC

Dr Jessica Morgan of Morgan Equine uses the Lameness Locater. Excellent tool for pinpointing lameness.

GVEC is great but a little pricy. Dr. Ana Pachetco specializes in lameness. She is patient, compassionate and explains everything.

Dr Jessica Morgan and the lameness locator is awesome. The horse has what with a sensor in it and a leg sensor you walk trot horse and she has the program on her tablet and it shows where the problem area is. And her husband does great at shoeing to help fix problems
