Orlando friends: Looking for pediatric dentist recommendations in Maitland/Winter Park. (Not Dr. Bishop/Bertot - they don't take insurance.)
Amber P. replied:
Wait! It's not to late to change! We go to Longwood Pediatric Dentist, they are amazing, and he's a family friend.
Margaux M. replied:
We go to Dr. King and loooovvvveee him! He is in Oviedo but honestly I would drive for him. I would still go there if I could
Candy T. replied:
The last I checked, King didn't take our insurance and we have pretty standard insurance. We use Dr. Lincoln Taylor in Winter Springs/Oviedo. Love him and his office staff. Loved King too when we were self pays. We had to moved where it was easier on the wallet.
Judy B. replied:
Dr King in Oviedo! Worth the drive!! And it's not a doc you have to see regularly...unless there's an issue but twice a year cleanings are worth the drive!
Rebecca R. replied:
Thanks ya'll! Dr. King didn't take my insurance either... We opted for Lake Mary Pediatric Dentistry- Dr. White. He's a gator so it feels right. http://www.lakemarypediatricdentistry.com/

Omg I love Dr. Donaldson. He is a true God sent for our family. His staff is amazing. I love him. It was going to be my recommendation till I saw the comments lol. He personally calls u if he does dental work on the kids to make sure their ok. I love him. Plus he's cute lol
Cami H. replied:
Beck, we love Dr. White! Of course, we don't go because he's a gator. Your girls will love his office!
Melanie H. replied:
We go to Dr. White and love him. Always thought I would want to switch to someone in Maitland when we moved over here. I never did and now don't think I could bc the kids love going to Dr. White. They both have no problem going back by themselves. Ella has had some cavities filled and it doesn't bother her since she gets to pick out of the treasure box at the end!

Nicole Z. replied:
I have taken my kids to Dr Stu Bonnin In Pensacola. He was awesome! Fast friendly, makes the kids feel at ease, just great!
Jennifer D. replied:
Dustin... Dr DeMoya referred my daughter to a specialist back in February because she had cavities & needed 2 crowns put in and DeMoya doesn't do that. Tricare originally wanted to send us to Freeport- which is way too far so we had Tricare approve dr Stavely.
Can anyone in Pensacola recommend a pediatric dentist?
Christy R. replied:
My dad (dentist) refers to Dr. McAuley (female) and I've heard good things
Trudy C. replied:
Katie- our family sees Dr. LeBeau also but Lucy currently sees Dr. Laura McAuley- it's so kid friendly there and we are very happy we started her with a pediatric dentist. We don't have her on our dental plan and both visits have cost about $100 out of pocket.
Sarah F. replied:
Dr. Bonin...have to pay up front and insurance will reimburse, but he is great!
Does anyone know of a good pediatric dentist that takes Concordia? My daughter is 3 and hit her mouth this evening. A couple of her teeth are loose and I would like to...
Sarah S. replied:
From what I'm told, dr. Mckauley is the only one who take r insurane that is in the area and a peds dentist, there number is (850) 505-9778 They are still considered outbox network, concordia pays a portion still, but there the only ones who even file ins. You may wanna try a regular dentist first to see if they can help her for much less $, Dr. Norton at Fairfield dental is great!! They can give ur child nitrous for no additional charge if u like. Hope this helps Sarah

I take my 6 and 8 year olds to Dr. Farrugia off Sorrento. He's fabulous with the kids and has them call him by his first name.

I recommend Dr Andrew Taylor at Taylor dental on David hwy in the tjmax and Joann fabrics shopping center. They see patients as young at two and are great! Love everyone there!
Pensacola or surrounding areas who is your child's dentist? I would much prefer a pediatric dentist :) TIA for any help.
Stephanie H. replied:
Dr. Laura McCauley on Creighton Rd. She does pediatrics only. We love her and her staff!
Holley D. replied:
We cureently use Dr Laura. She is not a provider for any insurance companies so I've always paid $22-$28 out of pocket which was no big. Under Shawns new contract the insurance has change and now we wld have to pay $180 out of pocket and wait to be reimbursed.
Christina J. replied:
Stu Bonnin, on Olive, is THE best pediatric dentist on the gulf coast...possibly in the world!
Kristy F. replied:
I recommend Stu Bonin!!! And definitely not Barbara Mizzell!
Linda F. replied:
I took the kids to Dr. Hart. He was great.
Vicki N. replied:
Call your provider and tell them you want to take her to a ped dentist. Since there wwere none in our area they approved Dr. Bonnin. I pay initially as out of network, but I always get the total back from the insurance. Just make sure you match the billing codes and know your coverage.
Rhonda L. replied:
Trin goes to Dr. Helen Turner on Berryhill and really likes her....and I always go back with her.

Angie M. replied:
Dr. Bonnin!!
Sarah O. replied:
My son has seen Dr. DeMoya in FWB for the last 8 years. She and her staff are amazing with children. We first saw her when my son was 3 and smacked his face against the tub, pushing his two front teeth backwards. She took such good care of him, comforted him and put him at ease. That was 8 years ago and I cannot imagine seeing anyone else! They take all kinds of insurance too! Worth the drive!
Moira D. replied:
Dr DeMoyer in FWB on Hollywood. She's great and so are all her staff. We have been going to her for 7 years since we got here.
Jen P. replied:
Dr Bonnin!!!!!
Rebecca B. replied:
Dr Bonnin is amazing. My daughter had always been terrified of the dentist and he and his staff made her feel comfortable and were absolutely amazing!
Pensacola has a lack of pediatric dentist has forced this mommy to go to New Orleans for my children to get the best dental experience available
Laurence K. replied:
Stu Bonin is fantastic, so are a few others. But a trip to New Orleans isn't bad since you have family there !

Stu Bonnin or no one a Else takes my insurance but in New Orleans I have lots of choices one of my coworkers from New Orleans exactly. Has her own practice and takes my Insurance
Rachel H. replied:
Have you tried Dr. Laura McAuley? She's in Pensacola. We did a co-pay for what Tricare didn't cover.
I need pediatric dentist recommendations.....preferably one that is open to natural treatments when possible.

Looking for a good pediatric dentist that accepts delta dental insurance. My stepson will be with us this summer and we've just been told he'll need 9 fillings, so...
Hilary H. replied:
Try Dr. Simmons on North Davis Hwy. We have Delta. They estimated my percent, only charged me my portion and THEN filed with Delta. It was the only pediatric dentist I found in town that did not make me pay the full up front. Also, he was great with my son and the staff really seems to care about kids!
Christina M. replied:
Stu Bonnin is awesome!
Hilary H. replied:
Our referral was with Dr Bonnin, and I was excited because I've heard great things...but he's out of network for Delta, which meant that I would have to pay in full and then wait for delta to reemburse me. So I was very thankful to find Dr Simmons! Still out of network, but finantially the best option for us.
