If you need urgent care avoid Arrowhead Women's Center, 6370 W. Union Hills Drive in Glendale, like the plague! I was seen by Dr. Erickson on Wednesday and he told me I need hysterectomy ASAP. I'm having SEVERE pain, cramping and abnormal bleeding. I called for pain meds on Thursday and was finally told at 4:10 a prescription is at the front office, but they close in 20 minutes. I couldn't make it there with only 20 minutes notice. I went there the next morning at 7:30 and the prescription was not there as promised. Kelly was supposed to take care of it, but I was told she "forgot about it" before she went home for the day. I explained that I'm in severe pain and that I need help urgently to both the receptionist and another woman at the front desk. After waiting 20 minutes I was told that no one would be in to take care of it this morning I went home, but immediately called the practice and left voice mail messages for both Kelly and office manager Joyce. It's now after 5 pm on Friday and they have not contacted me about pain meds. Now I'm left twisting in the wind in horrible pain all weekend. I've just checked Yelp reviews for this practice and they got bad ratings for customer service. Wish I went to Yelp first before I made an appointment and had to wait 2 weeks to get in even though I clearly explained when making the appointment the urgency of being seen by a doctor immediately.

Well I see Dr. Greenspan but his office is at Thomas and 6 th ave. He is not the best at bed side manner, but his nurses and office staff are AMAZING. He is wonderful too but very nerdy and factual, thus bedside manner not as great.

I saw a knee specialist at TOCA (the orthopedic clinic association) a few years back when I was having problems. I think his name was Dr. Yacobucci. After xrays and an MRI on both knees, there wasn't anything major found (just no cartilage left in either knee...awesome). He was a good Dr and the office was nice, close, and well run. They have an office over by Arrowhead hospital.

Arrowhead Health Center at 59 th and Bell in Glendale. Tom's been having knee problems for a long time and finally went there. Turns out he has a Meniscus tear in one knee and something else with the other.

I have been going to Arrowhead Health as well. I was very pleased with the doctors there. We have our family doctor there and chiro too. I have less than 40% of cartilage left in my left knee. They have been great since I started there over 3 years ago
