cognitive therapy is recommended for traumatic stress. there's a good book on it you can get cheaply off amazon; there are also workbooks for it. http://www.amazon.com/Feeling-Good-The-Mood-Therapy/dp/0380810336 I have traumatic stress as the result of narc assault, am being treated with cog therapy and the lowest possible dose of anti-anxiety meds. sliding scale on the therapy.
