Does anyone have information about the preschool the district offers. Hours, days, cost... Any info would be helpful. Thanks

Emanon.:) I also marched with Persuasion in 98 and 99. Emanon started in town, and was originally sponsored by post 242 next to Gillys. We rehearsed there during the week, and Friendship Hall the day of shows. My parents helped start the guard with the current director.

Sunset Co-Op all the way! 3 of my kids went there, and my last 2 are there now! The kindergarten teachers that have had my first 3 all asked, where did they attend pre-school?? The teacher was very impressed by their kindergarten readiness. And now that we have full day kindergarten it is even more important to be prepared! My 3 year old is writing his name, and my 4 year old is recognizing sight words! WOO HOO:)

There are a few choices, but make you include Sunset Co-Op on your list of places to check out, they were great!

Check out Pompton Plains Preschool! It's been in town since the 1940's with a wonderful history. Located on Newark Pompton across from town hall in Friendship Hall. Beautiful classroom at street level, caring and wonderful staff, great family feel, very reasonable tuition. You can even message me directly for more info as I'm on the parent board. We're having an Open House on January 22 nd from 9:45 - 11:45, the $50 registration fee is waived to anyone who registers by March 1 st. We're also open enrollment, so if you needed a place to start now, we can take new students and registration fee is waived in that case too. :) If you can't make the Open House, I would be happy to meet you there one day and give you a tour. http://www.pomptonplainspreschool.org
