I need a recommendation for an appliance repair company.
I have a washer that needs repair.
Jim D. replied:
American Appliance right in town
Maureen D. replied:
Sorry Jim but anyone but American Appliance!!
Pat R. replied:
Maureen call Jesus at 973-417-2935. He has been working on appliances for years and just recently went out on his own. He just repaired our dryer on Monday.
Kyle R. replied:
Lol, I used to know a great washer guy named Mike Daly!!!!
+1 (973) 417-2935. Jesus, he is awesome...I've got a referral for him from this website, passed on to 2 others, we all love him...$85 for him to come check it out, he puts that towards cost of repair.
BDA construction - Al973-809-8390. He’s really reasonably priced and will make sure to do whatever it takes for minimal repair options (ie, fix boiler rather than install new one). He’s very good
Can anyone please recommend an honest washing machine repair person?!

Does anyone know of a local handyman or appliance repair business that works on LG dryers? Not a lot of service companies tackle LG, and those that do I'm not happy...
Rich D. replied:
I've found Dennis Appliance serving many towns very excellent and reasonable. His number is 973-838-6254. If he doesn't think he can fix something he will tell you so.
Looking for an appliance repairman to give an estimate on my appliances zapped by a power surge.
David O. replied:
Kyle, we used the following for our dryer a couple times and it went very well https://www.yelp.com/biz/northeast-appliance-service-boonton?osq=appliance+repair+service
Recommendations for reasonable, local washing machine repair person for a Maytag machine? The water is not draining fully after the spin cycle. Thanks.
Susan P. replied:
I always had good results with American Home Appliance in Pequannock. I could get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. Once the repair guy told us the machine would be more expensive to fix than replace & didn't charge us, except maybe a small appointment fee. If they charge you to check it out, they apply it toward repair if they do it. Caveat - I haven't needed an appliance repair in 4-5 years (watch, something will break soon, now that I've said that).
Barbara C. replied:
American Home Appliance. They are honest and respond quickly. Fixed my dryer after giving me a price and that it would be worthwhile fixing. Looked up cost of a new one and they were right
LOOKING FOR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REASONABLY PRICED APPLIANCE REPAIR FOR LG FRIDGE. COMPRESSOR BEING ORDERED UNDER WARRANTY BUT NEED SOMEONE TO INSTALL IT.
Can anyone recommend a good appliance repair man? I used Dennis Appliance for years but don't think he is still around.
Ann M. replied:
I've always used Dennis, that would stink if he is no longer doing repairs. Did you try his Butler number? Pequannock Appliance store were the ones who referred him to me, maybe they would know if he's still in business or could make another recommendation.
