I personally do not recommend anesthesia-free teeth cleaning. You cannot get under the gums, you cannot polish and the risk of allowing bacteria to enter the bloodstream is WAY higher. In 2013, there was discussion of outlawing it in CA based on the rise in dental-related issues in those who had used the services. Bon Chien!!! Wherever you go, please make sure your pet is not put in a cage with a dryer clipped to it to dry them. This happened to me once and my dog was really hot!!!

I can only speak for Bon Chien as it is the only place I have tried, but they have been wonderful for my dog. As a rescue dog, he was abused and needed more TLC than most. They let me stay with him for his first 2 groomings so that he had some security. After that, he didn't need me anymore - they were very patient with him. He also attends daycare there on occasion - and they have really helped to socialize him too. I am sure other places in town are wonderful - but this was/is my experience at Bon Chien. I don't want to change what's working! Hope this helps.

Just got back from Priceless Pets. Sheer perfection. I have been going to Lisa for 15 years. She also does a huge amount to help rescues.

Bon Chien does not use cages. Have used them for years. Does priceless pets cage dogs? Bon Chien is pricey but good.

I've never had mine groomed, Don't owners stay? I thought it was odd at Petco when I didn't see owners around. I would stay w mine and I trust Lisa Condo Bartlow at Priceess Pets whole heartedly.

The best looking, most reliably good cuts our dog gets are from Chantel at Happy Hounds on Rt 23 South. She's reasonably priced, never made a mistake nicking his skin, and always looks perfectly cut!
