I currently go to Cathie Hudson through My Bark Avenue in Port Hope .....she is absolutely wonderful! My first dog did 2 levels and my puppy is now in beginners! She came highly recommended to me and I've seen for myself why!

Try Paus N Train just north of Peterborough, they are amazing! I've taken several classes there and they also host agility matches and trials. http://www.paus-n-train.com/

This link is to Terry Horrigan, he was our dog trainer and he was great at it i would suggest giving him consideration, although im not sure if covid has affected his schedule or not. https://m.facebook.com/Terry-Horrigan-274025956382234/

Cindy at Team Fido in Lakefield is exactly what you describe. Very down to earth and positive reinforcement based. She will come to your area and do one on one training in neighbourhood parks, trails etc... or has distanced classes at her location on Lindsay highway. She's helped with both our rescues.

What, specifically, are you looking for when it comes to training? How old is the dog and what can it do at this point? What breed? Any specific issues you are trying to work through? PADOC - Peterborough and District Obedience Club is the local CKC group and offers group classes. I believe they have a website and FB page. Pat at due north kennels in Lakefield offers classes and one-on-one training. She’s one of the more experienced trainers locally. It may sound silly, but YouTube has a lot of good training videos. If you specify your interest/issue I can probably find a video that will help.
