Get 3 quotes and find out exactly what they are offering. 1. Ice shield first 3 FT. 2. Minimum tar paper for rest of roof. All plywood covered and waterproofed 3. Removal of all old shingles. 4. How many vents ( usually you need more) 5. Get Max quality shingle. It's worth the extra money. Go to Home Depot and pick the brand and model of shingle yourself. Do your own research. We got BP Everest 50 yr fibreglass.

Have you talked to the property manager and asked them what your supposed to do? They might offer a solution. If not..u can always apply for a dispute resolution at Service BC for RTB. Trouble is..if the property manager says no..u will have to foot the bill until your hearing with RTB.

They are doing two other farms up near us with painting but they are putting a steel roof on a shed for us and screwing down some steel on existing barn roofs and then Painting.
