I show yorkshire terriers and won't use any other vet than Cere Vidal of Whittlesey veterinary practice. She is fantastic caring and extremely supportive but most of all loves her animals and responsibly priced. Hope you find this helpful x
Maureen D. replied:
Cere Vidal Whittlesey Vets. She is very caring. I like seeing the same vet each time so a small practice suits me.
Susanne V. replied:
Whittlesey Vets01733 685514... Cere is wonderful with animals and doesn't charge the earth!

As I have had foster dogs in the past I got used to phoning around for the rescue for best deals and then thought well why not do that for my own dogs too. For general things, vaccinations, dentals, neutering etc I would say phone around for the best prices including vets in local towns too. Hopefully by the time you need a vet for an illness or emergency you will have trust in one yourself. I recently went to Whittlesey vets and they were very nice.
Vanessa B. replied:
Haven't thankfully had to try them yet. But I have been recommended to try this lady at Whittlesey. She is very calm with the animals and there owners and is suppose to be very reasonable compared to others. Whittlesey veterinary centre01733 685514. The person who gave me the card said she felt like she trusted what they were telling her and put every faith in them.
Hollie P. replied:
I used to use Isle Vets out Ely way, they were fantastic but had to change to a local one as it's too far in an emergency.
Hollie P. replied:
I wouldn't take a goldfish to Amical!! I use Best Friends, hasn't been plain sailing all the time with them (we clash on beliefs) but 95% of the time it's ok
Hollie P. replied:
I have Bernese mountain dogs and amical never refused to see them etc but it was the 'kennelling' bit outside in a warehouse I didn't really like. My dog suffered with heat stroke and we rushed him there, they treated him then stuck him in a large dog cage out in the warehouse type building out the back, we payed a lot of money for that. When he suffered with the same problem again and we used Best Friends that time it was a completely different experience
After speaking to Ilse today, I no longer fall into there area as they have now decreased it - even though I spent thousands with them and have on going medical...

Cambridge Vet School, have always been amazing. Not had good experiences with Fellowes in recent years
Mary G. replied:
Or Oakham veterinary hospital (used to be Gibson’s)
Hannah I. replied:
There’s a few posts like this as think quite a few have had a similar letter. I would highly recommend Fellowes Farm or alternatively Tower Equine are really good but haven’t used them since I moved out of their area.
Lindsey S. replied:
Fellowes Farm are excellent.
Trace D. replied:
Definitely Sylvia Bosma-Keller she's brilliant, helpful and caring.
Kate D. replied:
I had the same letter today. I use Fellowes for free days for jabs etc. Otherwise Oakham Vets are brilliant and have excellent facilities.
Hampton Vets are brilliant. We've had a couple of emergencies in the past and they were absolutely fantastic with them, I can't thank them enough for it xxx

My mare foaled this morning (earlier than expected) and the vet is a little concerned over him being so wobbly in our field with electric fencing....
Looking for someone to do a full clip on Friday 5th Jan. She will be vet sedated hence the timings-although has been clipped before a good few times with no sedation but...

I take my dog to Sherbrooke heights animal hospital. I really like the staff there and the vets seem to use common sense for diagnosing problems with your pets.

We take our dog (and our rabbits) to [Jackson Creek Vets](http://jacksoncreekvetservices.com/). Open 24 hours, with a great, knowledgeable staff, I really like and trust Dr, Thompson. They aren't the cheapest outfit in town, but after hours care doesn't require an extra charge.

I used High Street Veterinarian for the first time a few weeks ago and found them to be extremely reasonable, compassionate and very thorough. Offices not as "frilly" as some of the other ones, but Dr. was very knowledgeable and as I said prices were more than reasonable.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I'll keep them all in mind when we move out here.
Hi, does anyone know what the vet is called near Dobbies, and if they're open on Sundays? I have a suffering pet and need a simple procedure done urgently but sadly...

Hannah I. replied:
Fellowes Farm!
Elouise B. replied:
I would not recommend Fellows Farm... at all!! I know isle of Ely veterinary are stopping coverage of Spalding as of the 8 th April but David Scottney lives local to Spalding so it maybe worth giving them a call!!
Melissa A. replied:
I would recommend Mike Barton from fellows farm, he's fantastic and the only vet i trust with my boy!? Have had issues with them though i won't lie, one female vet was very rushed, rude and insentative towards both me and my horse, she left a used bloody needle on the yard which i had to handle and dispose of, it was an emergency call out and she took two hours to get to me, she was in and out in a flash and i was left feeling angry by her treatment, don't think she is there now though?! Another female vet left a new needle on the yard which i luckily found before a horse, dog or child did!!!! I have left complaints not sure if they followed them up? But i can not fault Mike he has the time and patients to explain everything he does, he has time to just catch up and chat and he treats my lad like his own with hugs and lots of fuss!
Recommendations for a good equine vet that covers Wisbech for hoof X-rays. Tia
Claire H. replied:
Isle vets, Ely. Best by far as took lots of X-Ray plates from all random angles of my daughters pony to detect a tricky to x-Ray problem. Cannot recommend enough my whole yard swears by them
April G. replied:
Isle vets. Came and took 5 xrays of my pony. Good price and quick to attend.
