If you need an Architect check statutory register at http://architects-register.org.uk/search/company/, then contact RIBA Client Advisory service, https://find-an-architect.architecture.com/FAAHome.aspx.
Anybody know a good architect that they have used and can post pictures of what they did for you?

We are currently building the second of the two extensions that we had 'Home Plan design services' plan for us. Rod Navarrete was very good at interpreting what we wanted. They are based in Highworth and cover a wide area. It was my boss at work in Newbury that recommended him after they designed his extension and he had him recommended by a neighbour. Photo is of the first extension...

Sorry clicked post too soon. Home Plan can be contacted on 01793 768368. They were very helpful and put us in touch with all sorts of useful contacts including private building inspectors, who have been great at working through any queries that arise as my husband is doing the building work himself. http://www.home-plan-design.co.uk/
