My husband and I are trying to get healthy. Looking for cross fit/boot camp/zumba classes at reasonable prices. TIA!

Have you checked out Camp Gladiator? Marissa Prude is the best!
Melissa K. replied:
Fitness Connection at Tech Ridge is an affordable option. I love the Body Pump classes, and they have others, like Zumba. Classes and child care included in low monthly fee.

Have you checked out the Betty Rocker? She has a free 30 day challenge and then some programs you can buy and do at home. Her workouts are fun. Combos of HIIT, yoga, fusion, etc. One thing to consider (I'm a yoga therapist): if you're holding your breath, your body is under duress and it's not the good kind of stress. Your workouts will up your heartbeat but do your best to keep a fluid breath. Holding it can strain your body. Also keep in mind, rest is super important. Like don't work out every day. Starting out, maybe 3-4 days a week. You can build from there. Any soreness may last a couple days but if it's longer than 3-5, it's an injury. Best thing to do on days between is a little movement. And maybe a bath. And nutrition is just as important. The Betty Rocker has some plans for that too. Good luck and have fun! I love working out ❤️

Bootcamp at Bodies by Design Workout Room off Vision Dr.
YMCA can't be beat on price for scheduled classes. Also YouTube if you have the self discipline. PopSugar Fitness on YouTube has some good high intensity interval cardio.

Please feel free to contact me@(512) 670-3766. ....as a side note, I absolutely LOVE boxers. I have a 9 1/2 year old brindle boxer and an almost 5 year old pit/boxer.
I am looking for a summer camp/ program for my 5 year old. Is there anything in the area that's under 200 a week for full days?
Barbara C. replied:
City of Pflugerville has Pfun Camp at Gilleland Creek Park. It's outside all day, swimming, playing, field trips. It was pretty inexpensive when my son went there several years ago. You sign up for it at the rec center.

Monica Parker Allen both rec Center and Pflugerville ISD are full days

YMCA Camp Grady Spruce - at Possum Kingdom Lake. My kids went every summer for two weeks and my youngest is now a counselor. Best thing I ever did for them. So many fun activities and learning how to get along with other kids . They also offer scholarships. http://campgradyspruce.org/
