Any recommendations on electricians? I am considering a 240v outlet in my garage for future EV charging and would like a suggested electrician on the Northside.

What's the going rate for a 240 v outlet in garage? Interested as well

Archer Electric - Jimmy (512) 239-9848 He installed my 240 v charger several years ago for me. Did a great job. Been using him ever since. Highly recommend him.

We used Duhon Electric to build a new panel for us. Great to deal with, but they're pretty busy these days.

The first one who tells you they can make it over within a week.

Alterman or Big State Electric. Not cheap, but you can’t beat their craftsmanship.
Anyone have a good electrician who has done work for you that youd recommend?

Pritchard Electric. They installed our hottub about 7 years ago, and had to put in all new wires, breaker boxes, dig a trench to bury it, worked great with the city inspectors. Then we had them out again this year for a short in our home wiring, they figured where the problem was, fixed it, no mess no fuss. done.
I'm going to ask this one again (I've already called and checked into the electricians that have been previously reccommened- thanks Omega for the super cool search...

Can anyone recommend a good electrician that not to expensive??
Jessica G. replied:
Depends on your definition of expensive. You can give Grayzer Electric a call at 512-535-4120 or send an email to info@grayzerelectric.com. But beware of the companies that only charge $50-80 to come give you a quote. The actual work will be much higher.

We use It's Electric. I wouldn't call them cheap, but they do a really good job and they are really honest. You will get what you paid for and not be cheated. We have been using them for everything for about six years. The owner is Graham and his number is 512-694-4984. I replied once before but for some reason it didn't show up, so if this is a double recommendation please forgive me.
