Stewart Harvard is the BEST trainer in the Southeast! He has trained working dogs and pets. I can't say enough about his qualifications and his work ethics. He does his own training and the dogs actually sleep in his own house!

Johanna Carmack is amazing. She helped us with our dog and I recommend her to everybody. She comes to you and you're there for every step of the training. It helped me a lot because I use what she taught us for our older dog on our younger dog now. It's all treat and praise-based, definitely no punishment. Took an Irish Setter to Harvards K9 and they did wonders with her! Had to leave her there for about 6 weeks. Used Carolyn from Developing Canine for our Goldendoodle; she came to our home once a week. Our dog did so well she only came out 4 times.

We have used Stewart Harvard and highly recommend him. We took our boxer to him. She was impossible for us to train and was exceedingly disrespectful to our home and constantly bit our child. We brought home a loving, well-mannered dog that is a treasured member of our family even 5 years later.

Can anyone tell me a good dog trainer? Im just needing obedience. I have a German Shepherd thats a little over a year old.
Lindsay C. replied:
Jerrys K9. He's had both of my German shepherds and I am blown away with the transformation. Words can't even describe. After 5 days my dogs stopped jumping up. They walk in step with you no matter how fast or slow you go they stay in sync with me. They jog on leash. They stay when told. And so so much more. He trained MP K9's in the army. He is the master trainer for Mason county police department K9's and teaches obedience training out at auburn university I believe. He has two different options. You can bring them on training days or in kennel course. I personally did the in kennel course which is 3 weeks. They get trained twice a day, after each training session they have play time. And for the training and in kennel cost it is only 800 for the 3 weeks. Which for that type of qualification and the changes in my dogs just after 5 days, he is worth that and then some. Back home in Washington trainers wanted 100 dollars an hour. He is also very thorough in training you the owner. I go down 3-4 days a week to work with them and have him show me and explain certain things to me so I can keep up with their training.
