Welcome to Columbus. Harris County is nice. Smiths Station, AL is nice. It's a gamble in Muscogee County. I would look up crimes in the zip codes. 31909, 31907, 31901, 31906 31904 are some. Schools are zones by zip codes. Unless you apply for a hardship or by applying for a magnet school. We have some nice private schools. MCSD is the district for Muscogee County.
