I found my black owned coffee shop. I'm at Rose Petals Cafe & Lounge 322 W. Chelten. There's wifi, good coffee and great food. I'm having the catfish and grits platter. I even met the owner, Desmin Daniels

Agreed Ceil. I'm looking for more black businesses to check out. Thinking of stopping in Charlie's Jeans on 200 Market Street. I haven't been in there yet, but the brother has owned the place for years. In fact he has another location, maybe on Walnut Street.
Solomon J. replied:
I've got another black owned spot for you. Haven't been there yet, but I heard its nice for jazz and dinner. It's called Paris Bistro and Jazz Cafe on the 8200 block of Germantown Ave. Owned by the Bynums
Solomon J. replied:
Thanks Elaine. I'll definitely check it out. Mahaley I found a website for this one: http://www.parisbistro.net
