I need a financial advisor. Anyone want to help me get my finances in check? I need to move to a cash budget...but I also need to cut my spending...please help!
Richard P. replied:
Amanda, check out Dave Ramsey, he's got a program called Financial Peace University. You can get it on audio CDs. I borrowed it from a friend and it's full of awesome guidance on how to manage your money, pay down debts, and become financially sound. I do a monthly zero budget and its a REAL eye-opener when you see how much you spend on certain things (my overspend was food). Anyway, worth looking into and if you have any questions just hollar.
Jessica M. replied:
Amanda, I work for the financial empowerment centers and we are a city program who offer free financial counseling no matter how much money you make.. check out our websites, fecphilly.org and phila.gov/fe! We improve credit, money management, remove errors from your credit reports... it is seriously awesome!
