If you call the [Classical Guitar Store](http://www.classicalguitarstore.com/) on 20 th and Sansom, they keep a list of established guitar teachers that teach in areas outside center city. I'd recommend calling them and they can probably give you a few to check out that are near you.

I've played guitar since I was 16. 75% of my skill/knowledge came after the age of 30. You can continue to learn your entire life.

What type do you want to play? I'm a self-learner and my advice is you can learn it by yourself and don't need to spend money for teachers. Unless you want to be a musician/guitarist. If it is just a hobby, you can totally learn it from Youtube for free or with some apps on your phone. If you need good channels on Youtube, I can show you some. Guitar is great! Learning an instrument is a really interesting experience! Don't worry about the age! I'm 25 and I think it is no problem to learn new stuff you know.
