I've been taking Muay Thai at Body Arts Muay Thai since April and I love it - definitely recommend. Give em a call and talk to Angel, you can do a trial class with him. Tell him Zack told you.

It might be good to know the purpose of the classes. As previously stated, a lone individual unarmed against an armed couple, the rule is COMPLY and survive. That's the advice I've seen over and over again from self-defense experts. Just wanting to make sure she's not looking for a class to boost her up to making a really tragic mistake. If she's looking for something to simply burn energy, there's a million options including Cardio Kickboxing at places like City Fitness. As someone pointed out, Krav Maga is basically meant for street fighting, and even includes how to survive weapons attacks (as a last resort, obviously.) Balance Studios teaches a good range of classes with direct street application like Muay Thai and Gracie Jiu Jitsu, both practical martial arts for self defense. The owners and staff there are super nice as well.
