I took my 5 yr old to get ears pierced at Nine Stars Salon on st 352 & 63 (across from Thai Huot). The owner is an aesthetician from the US and has a piercing gun. I also pierced my nose there. I was very happy with it and no problems with the piercings

The blades are medically sealed, though the inks were just mixed up in a little thimble that may well have been used before - I didn't even think to ask. There is a salon across the street (st 352) from Thai Huot in BKK1 (st. 63) called Nine Stars (I believe). The Khmer owner is a US trained aesthetician. My five year old got her ears pierced there and I pierced my nose. No problems.
