Can you grow the Cara Cara variety here in Arizona? If so where can I get a tree?
Joe L. replied:
I planted one this winter purchased from RSI Growers. Greenfield Citrus is another good place to purchase them or you may try Richards Nursery.

Absolutely - They do incredibly - we have them here - http://store.urbanfarm.org/Navel-Cara-Cara-Red_p_133.html - In 2 sizes 5 Gal and 15 Gallon. THe 15 gallon size are the ones that the big nurseries purchase and box in 24 inch boxes and sell for a huge amount (THEY ARE BIG)

This is a rather often requested topic in the sub. We recommend you start with these [previous posts first](https://www.reddit.com/r/phoenix/search?q=nursery&restrict_sr=on&sort=relevance&t=all). The recommendations are almost always the same. Usually starting with a sub search to see if what you are looking for has been posted about before is your best bet.

I go to richards garden center. They are very helpful with not only selecting plants, but also giving advice on how to care for them in this climate.

In Phoenix proper, with Baker gone, it has to go to Whitfill. Dig It is doing good things with their workshops, but they suffer from not having much space and having high prices and poor selection.

Also, I wonder how expensive it is to replace the dead tree? Or multiple dead trees. You can find larger pots on places like offer up and last time I checked a very large plastic pot, and a very pretty color too, cost me all of 10 bucks at Home Depot the other day
I'm ISO a garden center or store with a large selection of seeds? Does anyone have a favorite place?
Does anyone have any seeds from climbing or Vining flowering plants?...

My favorite is Westwind Seeds in Tucson. I order online from them and their customer service is amazing. They usually throw in a free seed packet you may like based on your order. You'll have the most luck with Arizona native seeds. http://www.westwindseeds.com/
