I took 2 courses. One in wisconsin called Thera sage with Greg Gage... he works with Josh Lyons in TN and tours with him to massage his horses pre n post event. So he does some classes in TN at the Lyons ranch and some at a university in ohio. The cost runs btw $800 -$900. U can Google it for a schedule. It is 40 hrs of training. The other one I took was a Jim Masterson weekend seminar. He and his colleagues do them all over the country and overseas. He has books and videos too. After the weekend seminar ($450), You can go on to a full week of training and more after that depending on what level you want to reach. He also has a Web site to look it up. I also did a weekend seminar with Animal Krackers from Arizona. They also travel all over the country found their seminars. Their techniques are beyond massage and more body balancing as well as red light therapy.

My chiropractor went to the British Columbia College of Equine Therapy and she is amazing!!! I'd never seen a chiropractor adjust a horses pelvis, sternum, even there tongue! My mare absolutely loves her! She also learned the massage part and a whole bunch of stuff.
